Power Yoga
Power Yoga (heated) – Intermediate class
Baptiste Yoga is a strong vinyasa practice, taught in a heated space (max 30 degrees), incorporating meditation through connection to the breath as you flow and self-inquiry, creating a platform for transformation both on and off your mat.
Physically Power Yoga builds strength, stamina, and tone. Mentally, it can challenge your perceptions of what’s possible and encourage new, positive ways of thinking and being. Anything is possible if you’re open to the possibility.
Baptiste Power Yoga follows a sequence – Journey into Power; a blueprint from which to expand and grow. Yoga should be playful, explorative, and fun. No two classes are the same as your practice is constantly evolving.
* Please note this class is for yogis with some experience. If you are a beginner join us for Power Basics to experience this transformational practice!

Hatha and Slow Flow
Hatha Yoga
Most yoga styles are derivatives of Hatha, making it an ideal place to start your yoga journey. Hatha yoga focuses on posture, alignment and breath awareness – stilling the mind and restoring balance. Perfect for beginners and experienced Yogis. Postures focus on strengthening (back, pelvic floor, core), stability (balance) and flexibility. Relaxation, mindfulness and meditation are also an integral part of every class.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time, from between 2 and 5 minutes. These poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, Yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality. Poses can be challenging, and each yogi is encouraged to find and work to their own edge.
Somatic Yoga Reset
Somatic Yoga can help calm and restore balance to your nervous system. Simple, accessible movments combined with awareness of sensations and how your body ‘feels’, moment to moment, can enable you to build a stonger mind, body connection. You body knows what you need but our minds often take over! When we start to notice what our body is telling us we can begin to understand our needs more clearly and make more confident and informed choices for ourselves.
Somatic Yoga can also help release tension and stress, improving mobility, reducing cortisol and help you ‘feel’ better within yourself. When we feel physically good, often we feel more mentally resilient, equally when our minds are at ease we may find we have more energy and strength to tackle demanding challenges. The mind and body work closely together.
This is a Yoga class like no other. Why not try for yourself! This class takes place 1st Thursday of every. month.
Hatha Vinyasa (Slow Flow)
The perfect combination of Yin and Yang. Ideal for those yogis who like a slower paced vinyasa. Combining a mindful flow with calming stretches. Hatha Vinyasa classes start with poses to create strength and awaken energy throughout the body, followed by longer restorative stretches that calm your whole being.
Expect to connect to your inner strength and vitality whilst experiencing a relaxed flow at the same time.
Pre-natal and Post-natal Yoga
Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy is an exciting time but also one of huge change. Pregnancy yoga offers the opportunity to take time out from everyday life to slow down and focus on you and your baby.
Pip combines her knowledge as an advanced antenatal teacher with her pregnancy yoga training to link theory with practice to help you prepare for baby’s arrival, whatever birth you are planning.
Classes focus on breathing, relaxation and movement to support the changing needs of the pregnant body, relieving common pregnancy discomforts, keeping the body mobile, active and strong for birth. Postures and movements are adapted to individual needs, including those requiring modifications – pelvic pain, backache, high risk pregnancies, etc. Classes are suitable from 12 weeks to birth.
Pip is also trained in aromatherapy for pregnancy, pregnancy massage and clinical hypnosis for childbirth, which she weaves into classes where appropriate.
Mum & Baby Yoga Courses
Combining mummy and baby yoga, this class focuses on supporting the needs of new mums as their bodies heal and regain strength, whilst stimulating baby’s development through gentle yoga moves. Postures concentrate on key areas that may need a little extra TLC – pelvic floor, back, and abdominals as well as areas that hold tension and tightness, such as shoulders and neck. Babies are very much a part of the class and we incorporate baby yoga moves, songs, and massage. Every class includes relaxation techniques, breathing, and mindfulness. It’s a fun way to enjoy an hour of movement, play, and relaxation together.
